Abstract/Description

No matter your role, you’re probably also in the business of changing behavior. But leading change is complex, and it can feel challenging and overwhelming. What if it didn’t need to feel so hard? What if you could lead behavior change in a way that works — and feels more accessible, impactful, and empowering?

Common belief says that change is hard because people resist change, but what we’ll explore in this session is how fear of loss and not being heard leads to breakdowns in communication and ultimately derails progress and the steps to take to create the conditions for meaningful dialogue that fosters behavior change and achieves better outcomes. You will leave knowing the steps you can take to create clarity for yourself in leading change.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discover how conversations are the foundation to leading sustainable behavior change
  • Explore why how we hold conversations is even more important than what the conversation is about
  • Be able to create the conditions for meaningful dialogue that foster behavior change and achieve better outcomes
