To be eligible for the Academic Registration Rate, you must provide proof of full-time faculty status or full-time student status. Please contact us with proof of your status - letters from your supervisor or dean, paid receipts of registration for full time class schedules or other official documentation to receive the Academic Registration Rate.

Academic

Terms & Conditions

Included in Registration

Your Conference Registration includes access to all the sessions and events that your ticket level allows.

Ticket levels are tiered: Full (5 days), Conference Only (3 days), Tutorials Day (1 day).

Payment Methods

XP 2018 accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express as well as check or wire transfer.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be received in writing or by email by May 1, 2018.

A 125 euro processing fee will be incurred.

No refund of any kind, for any reason (including medical emergencies) will be given for cancellation requests received after May 1, 2018.

No-shows are liable for the entire conference fee.

Agile Alliance reserves the right to cancel the event or substitute speakers. In the unlikely event that Agile Alliance should have to cancel the XP 2018 conference, attendees will be refunded for the amount paid for the conference.

Substitutions

Substitutions from the same organization are welcome with no additional fee, as long as the substitute qualifies for the same type of registration (member/regular). If the substitute attendee does not qualify for your rate, an additional fee may be required. If a substitution is necessary, please contact us.  No substitutions will be allowed after 5 PM WET on May 8, 2018.

Refunds

Registration Ticket fees are charged based on the Agile Alliance Account status at the time of purchase.  No refunds will be given should the status of account change after purchase including individual tickets and groups.

Speaker Compensation Rules

XP 2018 is a non-profit event that strives to balance speakers and non-speakers, researchers and practitioners, from academia and industry. As a gesture of appreciation for your accepted submission(s), XP 2018 offers non-transferable discounts over the normal fees, cumulative and capped at 100%.

  • Every session has one 50% discount, redeemable by one speaker.
  • Half-day events have 100% discount, redeemable by one organizer (100%), or two organizers (50%+50%).
  • Full-day events have 100% discount for up to 2 organizers, redeemable by one organizer (100%), or two organizers (100%+100%).
