Testing has been seen as an afterthought or a bottleneck by many for so long, even those companies implementing Agile methods. As more organizations around the world want to move towards continuous delivery — and as our systems become more complex — a lot of testers, teams, and customers are getting stressed out.

When the whole team takes responsibility for testing and quality, we can deliver small increments of value to our customers frequently and at a sustainable and stress-reduced pace. In this talk, presented in conjunction with Agile Testing Days, Janet and Lisa explain how the whole team working together improves product quality.

Learning takeaways:

  • Ways to encourage team members in all roles and specialties to own quality, learn, and use testing skills
  • Some leading practices to build quality in and reduce cycle time
  • How testers, developers, product owners, and others can shift their mindsets to help the team solve testing problems and improve quality.
