In this lightning talk, I will capture the “milestone based approach” of using six ‘R’s to transition an enterprise software platform from onprem to cloud. Using an agile approach, each ‘R’ helped identify and break down the specific milestone into prioritized backlog items/tasks that can be accomplished in 2-week sprint cycles. This approach helped us to “”contain”” the chaos within each ‘R’ step and gave the team confidence to see the light at the end of the tunnel while making all stakeholders happy.
