As Agile practitioners (scrum masters, product owners, product managers, agile trainers/coaches, and business analysts), our role is people-oriented.

Either when we are eliciting information from people, creating and telling the vision, asking for buy-in, or herding the team, we need people.

We get the most buy-ins and we-win negotiations when we are able to communicate effectively and connect with the people around the table.

How do you even do that because people are different and have communication preferences?

It is a valid question.

In our session, I would:

show that people are different but PREDICTABLY different,
offer hints on how to identify the differences,
share a cheat sheet to keep in your toolbox.
