Industry and Practice [Submission deadline April 8th]. Our theme for the year is how the software industry can adapt technical practices and software development techniques to help technical practitioners manage their stress levels. This is a broad theme that encompasses everything from how we design maintainable code through to effective collaboration when working from home. We are looking to support folks who are new speakers. If this is you, feel free to submit, but also reach out to the track chairs (Seb Rose & Jen Krieger) if you are interested in coaching and/or mentorship. Sessions can be 30 or 60 minutes, or full/half-day for in-depth workshops/tutorials.

Submissions

We invite proposals for engaging and experimental sessions oriented towards practitioners. More than presentations, we favour workshops, demonstrations, and interaction based on your experience and practice from working in the industry.

  • Clarity and practicality of concept
  • Engaging and involving

Based on the review comments and with the objective of creating a great conference program, final selections will be made by the program committee.

Review Process

Submissions will only be accepted via the Agile Alliance submission system (see the submission link below).

  • Ensure your submission is:
  • Relevant and inspires the participants learning
  • Clear and convincing. Note during the submission phase it competes with other proposals, so convince us of its importance
  • Tell us how you make it interesting, attractive, and maybe even entertaining for the participants.
