The adoption of agile practices started on Software Development Team level from 2002.
The world has changed since then. The increasing complexity and dynamics of the business environment requires whole companies to become more agile – beyond the development team level and into all functions of an enterprise. Traditional leadership approaches and practices do not lead to the desired success any more. Therefore, leadership is evolving to cope with the complexity of modern software intensive enterprises.
At this track, we focus on how leadership changes in organizations that are on their journey to increase agility. It will present a mix of experience from practitioners, as well as research findings.
Alongside a strong program of invited talks and workshops, the leadership track includes a session of Lightning Talks. Lightning Talk sessions consist of a series (usually between 5 and 10 minutes) of talks/presentations each introducing a topic or idea very quickly and should be of high interest to industry and research.
A session of Lightning Talks enables rapid sharing of the latest information about agile leadership from several presenters, without overwhelming the absorptive capacity of the audience.
Submit an abstract (½ page) describing the idea you will present in your talk by email to track co-chairs.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the track co-chairs.
