XP 2019 — 20th International Conference on Agile Software and Systems Development

An Agile Alliance Event

May 21-25 – Montréal, Québec, Canada

XP, the International Conference on Agile Software and System Development, is the premier agile software development conference, providing a unique forum where researchers, practitioners, agile thought leaders, coaches, and trainers present and discuss their most recent innovations, research results, experiences, trends and concerns in the field of Agile Software and System Development.

XP2019 marks the 20th edition of the “First Conference in Agile”. Whether you are new to agile, a seasoned practitioner, an executive, or a researcher – XP will provide you with a broad-based learning and networking experience. The theme for XP2019 will be “Agile – the Next 20 Years: Share and Discover!

Agile continues to advance – and the focus of the XP conference program has expanded over the years. While the first XP conference focused on eXtreme Programming and pre-dated the “Agile Manifesto” – XP2019 solicits contributions that address all modern agile approaches, as well as the application of agile to applications including but not limited to: DevOps, FinTech, AI/ML, IoT, and other mission critical systems with global reach.

Submissions

We invite poster proposals addressing new research ideas, research that is in an early state, or industrial experiences. We are looking for proposals capable of triggering discussions and collaborations. This will allow you to get feedback, to disseminate work, or validate work in different states.

All submissions will be reviewed by the posters committee. Accepted posters will be exhibited during the whole conference and presented during the conference poster session. Accepted posters and the related abstracts will be published on the conference web pages. Authors of the accepted posters will also have the opportunity to give a lightning talk on the topic of their poster. Details of the lightning talks will be posted later on.

Guidelines

  • The submission must contain (1) an extended abstract describing the contents of the poster and (2) a draft of the poster.
  • The extended abstract must conform to the LNBIP formatting and submission instructions (see instructions for authors), and should not exceed 4 pages.
  • The draft of the poster should give a general idea of the poster’s structure and contents, but does not need to contain finalized graphics or text. The draft must be submitted in the PDF format.
  • If the poster is related to a presentation or demonstration given in XP 2018 or a co-located event, please state this in the abstract.
