Agile2011 Conference to host Industry Round Table with Leading Research Analysts Covering Agile Market
Research analysts to share insights into industry change during the last decade and provide predictions of future trends and developments for broader Agile adoption within the software industry
PORTLAND, Ore., July 11, 2011 – The Agile Alliance, (http://agilealliance.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced it will host an industry analyst roundtable at the Agile2011 conference (www.agile2011.com) featuring five leading research analysts covering Agile developments within the software industry. The session will take place on Tues., Aug. 9 at 5:30-7 p.m., at the Grand American Hotel and will provide an overview of the past 10 years of Agile and, more importantly, a look forward into future trends and expected developments for the coming decade. Agile2011 celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the signing of the Agile Manifesto in nearby Park City, Utah.
Titled “Agile Trends and Future Directions,” this moderated, Q&A formatted session will provide industry experts from leading research firms with a forum to discuss the latest trends and emerging best practices around Agile software development. Attendees will learn how successful software organizations are utilizing Agile practices to drive business performance and how the latest innovations in Agile practices continue to evolve and mature as development organizations deploy Agile further across the enterprise. Moderated by Todd Little, the Conference Chair for Agile2011, participants in the roundtable include: Dave West, Forrester Research; Thomas Murphy, Gartner; Melinda Ballou, IDC, Michael Azoff, Ovum Research and Michael Cote, Red Monk.
