Matthew is a 3rd generation programmer. His grandfather worked for GCHQ running a team of code-crackers in World War 2 and his mother taught him the fundamentals of BASIC at the age of 6 on an Acorn. He’s been coding in C and C++ for 21 years (professionally for 15 years) and fell in love with embedded software a decade ago.Matthew is now having a lot of fun working for a progressive, Agile embedded software company in the form of Bluefruit Software. He has years of technical team leadership experience using the latest Agile methods, which he now strongly considers to be the only right way to organise and execute the engineering of high quality software.
