Now, we’re faced with different questions – “How do I ensure that our company goals are being met?” “How do we scale value creation across an organization?” “How do I make sure everyone is moving in the same direction?” These questions cannot be solved solely through good processes – either agile or product. They need a deeper understanding of how software can be a strategic differentiator for companies, and a core part of their company strategy. That’s where product thinking comes in. Working alongside teams around the world, Melissa helps empower Product Managers to be awesome by coaching companies and teams on how to create strategies and frameworks that satisfy users and drive business goals. She coaches Product Managers to answer two important questions – “Should we build this?” and “Why?”. In early 2017 she started Product Institute, an online school to help bring high quality education and coaching to Product Managers around the world.
