SECURA Insurance Companies is based in Neenah, Wis., and operates in 12 states, including: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Since 1900, we’ve been known for our genuine people and exceptional service by agents and policyholders. As a property-casualty insurance company, we provide flexible, customized options for your business, home, auto, farm, agribusiness, and nonprofit.

2025 Vision:
-Efficiency Driven, process only where it adds value​
-Agile IT delivery - all delivery teams, product owners, product backlogs, sprints​
-Frequent automated code builds, automated testing, and automated deployments using continuous integration, delivery, deployment methods​
-Continuous improvement through agile feedback loops

Scope:
-Agile – create training plans for Dev teams, Scrum Master, & Product Owners
-Agile – create COE & pilot Agile standards & communications regarding Agile (2021)
-Agile – Tool rationalization (continue to look at opportunities to reduce tools; looking to remove qTest (possible CI Savings)
-DevOps – Create and mature a CoE and publish a standard service catalog.
-DevOps – Consolidate source control tools, enable Continuous Integration for targeted applications, and develop work planning tool automation.
-DevOps – Operationalize Infrastructure as Code (IaC), improve the Powerwriter deployment process, and improve the IT Service Management change process through automation.
-Continuous Improvement – utilize CI-IT Committee to develop and execute CI Quick Wins and agile feedback loops
