OnAgile 2016: Don’t miss Lisette Sutherland on October 20

Added to The Alliance

We are pleased to have Lisette Sutherland as a speaker on October 20 at OnAgile 2016, Agile Alliance’s second annual virtual conference. Lisette is the Director of Collaboration Superpowers, where she and her team collect stories, tips, and lessons learned for setting up effective distributed teams. She has been interviewing people and companies for the last three years about remote working and is currently finishing her first book, “Collaboration Superpowers: Stories of Remote Teams Doing Great Things”.

Do you struggle with remote teams or are you scared to allow your teams go remote? Maybe you worry about the loss of control with remote teams. In her session at OnAgile 2016, Lisette will answer questions such as “Why are we going remote?” and “What does it mean to be present?”. She looks at the many of the tools that help us make us feel in the “present” while being everything but. She will offer a wealth of great information she has acquired during her 3-year study, all centered around getting the best people working together regardless of location.

I definitely recommend listening to Lisette’s talk at OnAgile. As a leader of a software development team that uses Scrum, her content definitely hits home with me. I encourage you to join me on October 20 and learn the secrets behind remote teams.
