What is the Member Spotlight?

The Member Spotlight is a short feature that runs in the Agile Alliance newsletter highlighting community members who’ve benefitted from their Agile Alliance membership.

1. Recognition and Visibility: Get recognized within the Agile community. Highlight your achievements and innovative applications of Agile principles. Your story will stand out to over 90,000 Agile practitioners, enhancing your reputation and visibility.

2. Networking Opportunities: Your feature in the Member Spotlight opens the door to new networking opportunities. Connect with like-minded professionals, industry leaders, and potential collaborators who see your story.

3. Personal Branding: Use this platform to strengthen your personal brand. Showcasing your expertise and commitment to Agile methodologies in our newsletter can attract attention from potential employers, clients, and collaborators who value your unique approach.

How to Participate

You can submit an entry to participate in the spotlight by filling out the form below. Please take note of the following:

  • This should be brief (see example above).
  • Candid photos are preferred to professional headshots. 
  • Please fill out the form completely. 

Questions to Consider

Below are questions you may want to consider when writing your Spotlight “blurb.” 

  1. Professional Growth: Can you share a specific instance where your membership helped you grow professionally?
  2. Networking Benefits: How has being a part of Agile Alliance expanded your professional network, and can you share a memorable connection you’ve made?
  3. Career Advancement: Can you describe a moment when your Agile Alliance membership directly contributed to advancing your career?
  4. Challenges Overcome: What’s a significant challenge you faced in your professional life that Agile Alliance helped you overcome (via networking, education, etc.)?
  5. Global Perspective: How has Agile Alliance’s international presence influenced or broadened your understanding of Agile practices?
  6. Educational Programs: Which educational program or event from Agile Alliance left the biggest impact on you, and why?
  7. Community Involvement: In what ways has your involvement in the Agile Alliance community enriched your professional (or even personal) life?
  8. Resource Utilization: What Agile Alliance resource (event, blog post, glossary item, video, etc.) have you found most useful, and how did you apply it?
  9. Mentorship and Guidance: Have you experienced mentorship or received guidance through your Agile Alliance membership connections that made a significant difference?
  10. Innovation and Ideas: Has Agile Alliance inspired any innovative ideas or projects in your work? Please share an example.
  11. Membership Impact: If you were to summarize the impact of your Agile Alliance membership in a sentence, what would it be?
