Meet the People Behind the Agile2025 Conference Program

Our conference program team met on-site recently at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center to put together the agenda for Agile2025. The team worked to ensure the selected sessions for each of our conference tracks flowed together to create an incredible three-day learning event. Joined by the events team and Agile Alliance staff members, we also worked through the logistics of the conference space plan to create the best experience for attendees at the now three-day Agile conference.

The Agile2025 Program team (l-r): Nayan Hajratwala, Semira Allen, Chris Murman, and Reese Schmit

We asked the Agile2025 Program Team to share a quick preview of just one thing about the conference that they are most excited about. You can view each of their responses below.

Chris Murman

As an accomplished Senior Program Manager and Product Leader with over 15 years of experience, Chris Murman has honed his expertise in project management, product launch strategy, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. He serves as the Executive Director of Product at JP Morgan Chase, directing 20 cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact financial products and services, and as the Conference Chair for Agile2025. Here’s Chris talking about the track, “How Can We Turn Agile Failures Into Growth?”

Semira Allen

Semira Allen is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Grainger. She is a proud Northwestern University Alum and graduated in Computer Science. She was recently appointed as chair of the Agile Young Professionals committee for the Agile Alliance. In her spare time, she’s a BIG Sci-fi nerd, tennis player, hobbyist photographer, and twin! Here’s Semira talking about the Agile2025 career track, “Where Does My Career Go From Here?” and how you can use Agile to build your personal brand and remain forever employable.

Reese Schmit

Reese Schmit has been working in the software industry for 20 years. In that time she has worn many hats, from User Experience Designer to Product Manager, QA Engineer to ScrumMaster. The knowledge gained from each of these roles allows her to frame problems from different perspectives and foster change through empathy. As an Agile Coach, she has worked to help organizations drive customer value, transparency, and collaboration and to motivate teams to continuously improve. Here’s Reese speaking about the “What if They Don’t Want Our Help?” track.

Nayan Hajratwala

With over two decades of hands-on technical expertise, Nayan Hajratwala is a seasoned Software Developer and Lean/Agile Coach. He specializes in JVM-based languages like Java and Kotlin and has a deep background in enterprise architecture and system integration. Here’s Nayan speaking about the new Hackathon, “Hack for Good: Agile Impact Lab,” which will benefit a local Denver non-profit, and the AI-focused Agile2025 track, “Why Should Agilists Use AI to Level Up?”
