Join the fourth annual Women in Agile half-day conference as we put new ideas in motion! We’re continuing to expand our presence globally and intersectionally. We’re investing and engaging in all our Agile communities. We’re welcoming our allies and seeking to be better allies to those around us. We energize each other!

We return this year with another powerhouse keynote speaker: Stephanie Thomas, founder of Cur8able. For nearly a billion people living with disabilities worldwide, dressing for success means dressing for access and one size definitely does not fit all. Her Disability Fashion Styling System©, “the art and science of personal shopping and fashion styling for people living with disabilities,” provides safe and stylish options so that people with diverse needs can dress to feel great and be seen. She has a great TEDx talk on the message, too!

This type of work takes a lot of prototyping, usability testing, and experimentation. It’s great to see how Agile methods can help outside of software in physical product development and also how digital and software touches all of it. Diversity and accessibility are key to continuing to activate new ideas.

Networking, collaboration, and self-organization have been at the heart of Women in Agile since our founding and 2019 is no different. We’ll use a Lean Coffee format to foster conversations and connections on topics of importance to you. We look forward to recognizing our growing communities of local groups around the world and continuing to foster new community inclusion at this global meeting.

Again this year we will close the session with a series of short talks from New Voices, our mentorship program that helps aspiring new speakers develop their potential by pairing with experienced conference presenters.

We’ll keep celebrating and activating with a no-host happy hour after the event.

Catch an early flight and join the #WomenInAgile revolution! Be sure to register early – space is limited to 300 and we expect to have a wait list again this year.
