This session provides insights on making technology and cybersecurity more inclusive. It aims to ensure that these advancements benefit everyone in the workforce, especially individuals with disabilities.

This session will address the following:

  • Balancing Security and Inclusion: Keeping security tight without compromising inclusion and empathy, focusing on disabled individuals.
  • Impact of Technological Advancements: The importance of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, for everyone’s daily work, including disabled professionals.
  • Corporate Challenges: Addressing the rapid and secure adoption of technologies in inclusive workplaces.
  • Specific Challenges for the Hard-of-Hearing: Highlighting unique workplace challenges and enhancing understanding for the hard-of-hearing.
  • Inclusive Practices in Cybersecurity: Integrating inclusion into cybersecurity to support all employees, especially those with disabilities.

Tracy Donahue

Technical & Creative Project Manager / Cybersecurity Enthusiast

Tracy is a veteran project manager residing in South Florida. She has been hard of hearing since the age of three after chronic childhood illnesses. After personally experiencing how technology and remote work propelled her career, she now strives to break down barriers to quality communication with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Tracy most recently spoke at the 2023 Women In Agile Conference as part of their Launching New Voices initiative. She is a Security Senior Leader at the Margaret Fairchild Morton UWF Center for Cybersecurity and combines extensive industry knowledge with solid program and change management skills to drive global enterprise-wide security and governance strategies that mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Tracy delivers impactful communications that heighten cybersecurity awareness and performance at all levels of an organization. A trusted advisor and collaborative partner, she is able to influence policy development and build consensus amongst key stakeholders.

Margaret Fairchild Morton
