Without understanding the depth and breadth of competencies required to become a skilled coach. In this session, we’ll be myth-busting about the skills and competencies required for Agile Coaching.
We’re going to explore what it takes to become a well-rounded agile coach. Not as a means of judgment or prescription, but simply to share the Agile Coaching Growth Wheel (ACGW) as THE compass for your coaching growth journey.

Bob Galen is an Agile Methodologist, Practitioner & Coach based in Cary, NC. In this role, he helps guide companies and teams in their pragmatic adoption and organizational shift towards Scrum and other agile methodologies and practices. He is a Certified Enterprise Coach Emeritus with the Scrum Alliance (CECem) and an active Agile Alliance member. He’s published three Agile-focused books: Extraordinarily Badass Agile Coaching in 2022, The Three Pillars of Agile Quality and Testing in 2015, and Scrum Product Ownership, in 2009 – 3rd Edition in 2019.
