James brings over 30 years’ experience in the software industry.

At Conga, James leads the development of the full suite of Conga's products. Prior to Conga, James led the development of CenturyLink's cloud management platform and held leadership roles at Microsoft and ThoughtWorks. Earlier in his career he co-founded Object Mentor Inc with Robert C. Martin, a consulting firm that specialized in training and mentoring their clients in C++, Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and Agile Methodologies.

James holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Nancy Van Schooenderwoert

Nancy was among the first to apply Agile methods to embedded systems development, as an engineer, manager, and consultant. She has led Agile change initiatives beyond software development in safety-critical, highly regulated industries, and teaches modern Agile approaches like Mob Programming, Agile Hardware, and Lean development methods.

Nancy has worked coaching Agile teams in the USA, UK, and Germany. Her coaching extended to their work with their teams in Japan, India, China and other countries. Nancy provides specialized consulting to medical device companies in partnership with Brian Shoemaker of Shoebar Associates. Together they cover all the latest regulatory developments in the US and EU, plus the Agile practices for documentation and incremental risk assessment that is essential for their industry.

Nancy's experience spans embedded software and hardware development for applications in aerospace, factory automation, medical devices, defense systems, and financial services. Her coaching practice spans delivery teams to middle and upper managers. She is a regular presenter at Agile-related conferences since worldwide. She is a founder and past president of Greater Boston’s premier Agile user group, Agile New England.

Richard Seroter is a Senior Director of Product at Pivotal, with a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Colorado. He’s also a 10-time Microsoft MVP for cloud, an instructor for developer-centric training company Pluralsight, the lead InfoQ.com editor for cloud computing, and author of multiple books on application integration strategies. Richard maintains a regularly updated blog on topics of architecture and solution design and can be found on Twitter as @rseroter.

Diana Larsen consults with leaders and their teams to create work environments where people flourish and push businesses to succeed. She is an international authority in Agile software development, team leadership, and Agile transitions.

Diana co-authored Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great; Liftoff: Start and Sustain Successful Agile Teams; and The Five Rules of Accelerated Learning. In collaboration with James Shore, she developed the Agile Fluency™ Model.

She is a past Chair and former board member (2007–2013) of the Agile Alliance Board of Directors. Diana is currently on the board of the Organization Design Forum and is an associate of the Human Systems Dynamics Institute.

Michael Feathers is the founder and Director of R7K Research & Conveyance, a company specializing in software and organization design. Prior to forming R7K, Michael was the Chief Scientist of Obtiva and a consultant with Object Mentor International. Over the years, Michael has spent a great deal of time helping teams after design over time in code bases. Michael is also the author of the book Working Effectively with Legacy Code (Prentice Hall, 2004).
