Covid-19 Policies

COVID-19 Vaccination and Mask Policy

Effective November 1, 2021

Since 2001, Agile Alliance has been informing and inspiring people and organizations as they explore, apply and expand the values, principles, and practices outlined in the Agile Manifesto. Our ambition is to create spaces for people and organizations seeking to humanely, effectively, and sustainably discover and deliver outcomes which matter.

Agile Alliance’s first priority in all meetings and events decisions is the safety and welfare of our members, attendees, exhibitors, partners, and team. In order to enable in-person events to take place with lower risk to participants, effective November 1, 2021, Agile Alliance is requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for admittance to Agile Alliance in-person meetings and events. Masks are required at all times for all members and attendees regardless of vaccination status in all indoor spaces at Agile Alliance hosted events.

This policy is based on guidance and recommendations issued by the United States (USA) federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other international public health authorities. The COVID-19 vaccines approved by the USA FDA for emergency use authorization and the vaccines that the USA FDA has fully approved have been determined to be critical in reducing the community prevalence of COVID-19.

For all in-person meetings and events after November 1, 2021, all registrants for Agile Alliance meetings or events will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination on-site before entering the meeting venue. The only exception to this policy will be for persons with a medical condition or a closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination, in which case the person must provide proof of a recent (within 72 hours) negative COVID-19 PCR test to attend an indoor event. When this occurs, specific health protocols must be followed and otherwise, attendees will not be admitted.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms within the 14 days prior to the beginning of the conference or event, please DO NOT ATTEND. We will give you a full refund (regardless of our standard fee policies). If you start feeling sick during the conference or event, we ask that you quarantine in your room, and contact either the event organizers and/or the hotel and seek medical attention.

Digital Vaccination Record Options

Experts recommend taking a digital photograph of both sides of your personal vaccination record card. That photo can be stored in the photos area of your smartphone and be accessible wherever you need it. Below are some “app-based” alternatives to show proof of vaccination.

  • If you are a user of the Clear platform for TSA Pre-Check, Clear now offers the option of creating a digital vaccine card. It’s secure, easy, and takes just minutes. Learn more.
  • VaccineCheck®, 100% User-Authorized Vaccine Verification & Digital Card Issuance, makes it easy for individuals to present their health status digitally, while maintaining privacy and security. Powered by Pinpoint and backed by over 30 years of Enterprise Compliance Technology and Safety experience, VaccineCheck® generates an authenticated digital version of a CDC vaccine card after verifying COVID-19 vaccine history. • Alternatively, you can use the proof specific to your country of the US-approved vaccination you have received.

Agile Alliance’s proof of vaccination policy is designed to create exceptional, safe experiences for attendees and participants at Agile Alliance conferencese and events. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will revise our policies as appropriate should conditions change. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are all in this together.
