My first degree is in Philosophy and I have always been fascinated by questions such as "How can we do things better, how can we work better and organise ourselves better?" I believe Agile has some answers. I started doing a home-made form of Agile back in 2002 which was very iterative and loosely based on Rational Unified Process (I was also using some elements of Scrum even though I hadn't heard of it at the time). I have since made use of the many components of Agile such as XP, Lean, Scrum and Kanban always with a view to improve quality and do things better. I currently work as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach with DBS bank in Singapore and I have brought agility to many other companies such Cisco Systems, UOB Bank and Automation Anywhere.
