Kirsten offers remote facilitation training and consulting services to companies across the world. She has specialized in enabling distributed teams to reach high performance, using a combination of adapted facilitation techniques, team coaching methods, and Agile frameworks. She has spoken and continues to speak at conferences on the topic of remote facilitation and creating effective distributed spaces. In 2020 she co-authored the book, The Remote Facilitator’s Pocket Guide. Kirsten has an educational background in clinical and neuropsychology. She has built on her psychology background in her work with software teams. She has focused primarily on the financial technology sector, working with both local and distributed teams. From 2016–2019, Kirsten served her local Agile community by being on the SUGSA Committee (Scrum User Group of South Africa), organizing monthly Meetups and the Regional Scrum Gathering in SA.
