Warren Smith

Warren B. Smith is a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer with General Dynamics. He is a Certified SAFe 4 Product Owner/Product Manager and Scrum Master. His recent focus has been bringing Agile to Systems, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Warren has supported systems engineering tools and methods his entire career. He has worked as a Systems Engineer, a Program Manager, a University Instructor, a Field Engineer and Entrepreneur. His 30 year SE career has spanned systems development, test, and working for tool vendors. As a long-time entrepreneur, he has developed re-use methodologies and deployed Agile techniques at seemingly inflexible organizations. His focus is supplying experience-based on-line and live-learning in Agile, MBSE, and re-use. While he has worked on a variety of systems including Military Vehicles, Rotary and Fixed-wing aircraft, Spacecraft, Training Systems, Medical Devices and IT, he says working on Amusement Park Rides was the most fun.
