Emma Carter

After running an award winning design agency in the UK and being shortlisted for The Thames Valley of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2011, Emma Carter moved to Brisbane and joined ThoughtWorks as a Lead User Experience Designer. She is the author of the best selling book as voted by Amazon, Beyond The Logo. Emma has over 13 years of experience in branding, visual design and user experience design, and she takes a user-centred approach to her work with a focus on branding, user experience, marketing, interaction, and interface design. To truly create the ‘total brand experience’ Emma believes you need to combine strategy, design, and technology. She has also conducted several branding workshops in the UK and Brisbane and has spoken at the Chamber of Commerce, Agile Australia and The Design Thinking Conference in Sydney.
