Mya is currently a Scrum Master in the Financial Industry in Cape Town, South Africa. She works with software teams, helping them continuously improve the way that they work together to deliver software that matters to the people who matter. She's a self-confessed failed developer-turned-PRINCE2-Project-Manager who found that ticking the three boxes of the Triangle of Constraints didn't necessarily result in software that users wanted to use. In her spare time, she also offers "Introduction to Agile" training to the rest of the organisation - regardless of their role or division. She has fulfilled a number of people related roles over her 15+ years in the industry, from mentor to line manager to team lead to coach, and enjoys finding ways to help diverse groups work together successfully as coherent teams. She blogs on dozylocal.wordpress.com.
