Jabe Bloom

Jabe Bloom is an experienced executive leader of software and product development companies. For 20 years he has focused on connecting design with software engineering and operational excellence. He has served in numerous executive roles including; Chief Architect, Principal Technical Director, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Executive Officer. As an academic and international consultant, Jabe teaches students and clients design, strategy, innovation and flow thinking through a series of lectures, workshops, classes, and coaching, Jabe has addressed such topics as Lean Systems, LeanUX, Complexity Theory, Strategy Deployment, Management as Design, Temporally Informed Design and Design Thinking as an international keynote speaker Currently he is pursuing a PhD in Design Studies at Carnegie Mellon University (PA). His research focuses on understanding how temporality can better inform Transition Design. His research informs an ongoing exploration of the practice of design and strategy with a select group of international clients as Founder and Chief Flow Officer at PraxisFlow, He holds a bachelor’s degree in Photography and Philosophy from Bard College (NY).
