The Call for Submissions is closed
This is your chance to join others passionate about all things Agile, and share your insights and learnings from your own unique perspective. It is an opportunity to join Agile practitioners and learners from around the world. Whether you’re an experienced or first-time speaker, we encourage you to submit your proposal no later than 11:59 pm CST on February 12, 2023.
NEW: In addition to Agile2023 in Orlando, we now have a track in the submission system for the new ‘Scotland Hub’ for presenting in person at the parallel event in Edinburgh, Scotland (July 24-25).
The information on this page is essential for submitting your proposal. Included below are tips for writing a good proposal, key dates, speaker benefits, and so much more! We encourage you to review this entire page before beginning the submission process and remember, we are here to help!
Unique to Agile20xx conferences, we are offering a just-in-time feedback option for your session proposal. When you’re ready for it, click on the “Ask for feedback“ button and one of our experienced reviewers will work with you to help polish your proposal and help your ideas shine.
What We’re Looking For
We can’t wait for the sessions to come flooding in and see the conference take shape, imagining all the fantastic conversations and networking that will follow. We are accepting submissions for the following presentation types: 75-Minute Talks and Workshops, three-hour Deep Dive workshops, and 30-minute talks.
75-Minute Talks and Workshops
Informative and engaging sessions delivered as talks or hands-on workshops that are designed to teach or develop a certain set of skills. Workshops contain more practical interactive exercises to support the learning.
Deep Dive Workshops
These three-hour workshops are designed to provide a more in-depth exploration of a topic or practice. To accommodate and interact with the larger audience for these Wednesday Workshop sessions, we encourage working with a co-facilitator (who will also receive an honorarium package.)
We’re doing a trial of shorter soundbite sessions this year! This should be a high-energy engaging talk with impact and great takeaways. A maximum of 6 of these sessions will be selected.
Panels, Keynotes, and Other Session Types
These types of sessions are arranged outside of the submission process. Please contact us if you have an idea for a keynote or panel discussion.

Your Voice is Important
If English is not your primary language, don’t let this stop you from submitting a proposal! Our goal is to make this a diverse and inclusive event, and we will help you refine your proposal and build your talk. English is the primary language for the event, but we have an opportunity to provide translation capabilities.
New Speaker or Need Help Writing a Proposal?
We want to help you share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences with other Agile practitioners. Regardless of whether you are a first-time speaker or someone who has lots of stage experience, we know that we cannot address all of the questions you may have here. With that, we have some tips for you to follow:
- Before you begin, please read the Program and Tracks information and our Submission Tips pages
- Do your best to complete all sections on the submission form
- Request feedback and then act on that feedback
- All content must adhere to the Agile Alliance Code of Conduct
- You must obtain the right to use any copyrighted materials you include in your talks or workshops.
Speakers who present at Agile2023 will receive complimentary conference registration and 4 nights of accommodation at the Gaylord Palms Resort Hotel. For a 75-minute talk or workshop or 30-minute session, 1 presenter will receive an honorarium; for a three-hour workshop, 2 co-facilitators will be eligible for an honorarium. Please note: we no longer offer a free year of Agile Alliance membership as a speaker benefit.
What is our Review Process?
The conference team uses a fair and thoughtful process to review all submissions. This includes having multiple reviewers go over each submission and providing feedback as requested to improve the topics. It is essential that you ask for feedback, check for updates and make improvements based on the reviewer’s suggestions. This will increase your chances of being selected.
