Communication as one of the XP values can be leveraged by means of using Big Visible Charts. They are tools to bring information to the people, indicating not only bad things but also good things happening on the project. The Big Visible Charts address various aspects of the projects: customer acceptance tests, velocity of the team, defects, team process. Casual, manual, style of creating big charts which push the information toward the people has obvious advantage as opposed to the web or other solutions which leaves the decision of knowing to the same who need to “pull it out of there”. There are many highly sophisticated software products on the market which can help in creating the same, and as in discussion shown at the end of the article, the bottom line is to “get the information out of there radiating”.
