AA Board Position Statement

My position for the AA Board of Directors.

Hello my name is David Hoehn and I would like you to vote more me.

You can watch my video Introduction instead!

I can neither offer the extensive experience of some of the other candiates nor have I written any books yet, but my interest in Agile has been guiding my career since I left University. My hope in standing for election to the board is to increase visibility of the Agile Alliance and its many valuable programs to a broader audience, with a focus on the younger generation. Fostering collaboration between business and technology departments. Some of the key issues dear to me can be found on the forum:

Who I am.

I am an Austrian, who has grown up in Germany and Austria, I live currently in the UK where I am working for Conchango and have a girlfriend in Canada. I am only 28 years young and thus offer a limited amount of real life experience but all the more enthusiam and innovative, uninhibited ideas. I am involved with the APLN as I was one of the first charter members. I also try to take part in some of the certification efforts of the ScrumAlliance

I studied Communication Sciences and Journalism at the University of Vienna and I have been involved with various Open Source projects. Currently I am responsible for most administrative and PR work for Fink

I am eager to make Agile even more widely accepted while not loosing focus on what is important to all of us. I would be honoured to receive your vote, as I am interested in working together with the community to build an Agile Alliance which puts the commuities’ needs first. Thank you for taking the time to read this statement.
