Der Referent

Peter Stevens, Certified Scrum Practitioner, Jahrgang 1959, begann 1982 seine berufliche Laufbahn als Software Engineer bei Microsoft. Er begegnete Scrum zum ersten Mal als Professional Services Manager, EMEA für MySQL in 2005, seit 2006 setzt er Scrum in der Deutsch- und Welschschweiz ein, um diverse grosse und kleine Projekte zu sanieren, führen und abzuschliessen. Er ist Mitgründer der Fachgruppe ‘Lean Agile Scrum’ der SwissICT. Peter ist auch Autor von “10 Contracts for your next Software Project” und “How to Hold the Daily Scrum” und andere pragmatische Artikel über Projektführung mit Scrum.

Scrum ist ein leichtgewichtiges Framework zur Entwicklung von Produkten und Systemen, das seit mehr als 10 Jahren erfolgreich eingesetzt wird. Scrum unterstützt den Einsatz von agilen und „lean“ Prinzipien mit dem Ziel, schnell und flexibel auf geänderte Anforderungen reagieren zu können und dabei hohe Qualität mit gesteigertem „Return On Investment“ zu liefern. Scrum wird sinnvoll ergänzt durch agile Entwicklungspraktiken wie testgetriebene Entwicklung und kontinuierliche Integration.

Der Scrum Master hat eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Einführung von Scrum. Anders als ein Projektleiter übernimmt er nicht verantwortlich die Planung und Steuerung eines Projektes, sondern unterstützt und motiviert als Coach und Moderator das Projektteam beim selbst-organisierten Arbeiten. Er fördert den Geschäftserfolg, indem er die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Kunden und Entwicklung optimiert.

In diesem Seminar werden die Teilnehmer zum Certified Scrum Master ausgebildet.

Ziel: In diesem Seminar setzen wir uns mit den wesentlichen Bestandteilen von Scrum auseinander: den Werten und Prinzipien, Rollen und Praktiken. Diese Bausteine sind zwar auf den ersten Blick einfach zu verstehen, in der Praxis aber oft sehr schwierig umzusetzen. Es geht darum, ein tiefes Verständnis für das Wesentliche von Scrum zu erzeugen – ein “Scrum-Denken”, mit dem dann in der Praxis auftretende Probleme gelöst werden können.

Randthemen wie große und verteilte Enwicklungsteams, Vertragsmodelle oder xP Praktiken werden wir daher nur streifen.

Nach der erfolgreichen Seminarteilnahme verstehen die Teilnehmer/in die Aufgaben des Scrum Masters und erhalten die Fähigkeit, Scrum in ihrem Projektumfeld einzusetzen. In dem Seminar wird auch auf die Voraussetzungen und Änderungen eingegangen die notwendig sind, damit agiles Vorgehen und Scrum in ihrem Unternehmen erfolgreich sein können.

Nach der aktiven und erfolgreichen Seminarteilnahme erhalten die Kursteilnehmer/innen erhalten die Zertifizierung zum CSM: Certified Scrum Master, die eine einjährige Mitgliedschaft bei der Scrum Alliance einschließt.
